NUTRIDA SEREIA

Era uma terra de pescadores e estava em festa. Aquele dia,era um muito especial. De tarde,havia a tradicional procissão,e há noite,orquestra sinfónica.Mas havia, também, uma feira ruidosa. Os ares andavam cheios de sons estridentes de música escolhida,daquela de bater o pé. Podia ela lá faltar. Sem ela,seria uma pobre feira. Mas à passagem da procissão,pela qual tinham um grande respeito,os sons emudeceram,bem como os pregões das mais variadas coisas,outra marca essencial.Ao contrário do que sucedera com a procissão,quando a orquetra actuou,talvez por ser dentro de casa, a música estridente e os pregões não se calaram. Alguém de fora,vaticinaria sala às moscas. Pois muito se enganaria. A sala rebentava pelas costuras,tendo de ficar muita gente de pé ou no chão.Aplausos não foram regateados e algumas vezes,até,com direito a repetição. E no final,lá apareceram dois ramos de flores,tendo sido um deles entregue por uma moça que mais parecia uma nutrida sereia daquele mar.

A STRONG MERMAID

It was a little town of fishermen. That day,it was a special one. In the afternoon,took place the traditional procession,and in the evening ,a symphonic orchestra acted. But there was also a fair. The air was plenty of noisy sounds,from selected popular music,a music of beating the foot. This music could not miss. Missing,the fair would be a poor one. But on the passage of the procession,that is very respected,the loud sounds shut down,such as the also loud invitations for much varied things,another essential,indispensable,mark.When the orchestra acted,perhaps for being indoors,so the loud sounds of music as the loud invitations did not cease. They went on more strongly yet. Somebody could think that the hall for the orchestra was rested empty,but great will be the mistake. The hall,on the contrary,was filled up. There was people on foot or even seated on the floor.The performance was very much appreciated,this well shown by the repeated applauses. And in the final,two big flowers branches were offered,one of them through a girl that was like a strong mermaid of that sea.
